Mark David Roseman, Ph.D., CFLE is a child custody consultant, Certified Family Life Educator, mediator and international speaker on contemporary family issues, particularly high conflict divorce, parent alienation, and co-parenting.

An expert in high conflict relationships, and divorce, Dr. Roseman is founder of Preserving Family Ties Media, LLC.  a multimedia and education publisher providing global news, information, education, and support services to family practitioners, researchers, and legislators to improve child outcomes when parents separate. Special research areas include high conflict custody interventions and family court reform.  He is Publisher of the global quarterly, Contemporary Family which reports on child custody research and legislation.

Dr. Roseman served as Assistant Director for Child Access Services (1999-2006) for the Children’s Rights Council in Washington, DC. where he closely assisted joint custody pioneer, David L. Levy,  whose public advocacy and legislative testimony for joint custody led to shared parenting statutes in over 30 states.

In 2008 and based on his experience in Washington, Dr. Roseman founded the Toby Center for Family Transitions offering therapeutic reunification, visitation and child custody services for parents choosing to separate.  Based in Florida, The Toby Center has emerged the most extensive provider of these court ordered services in that state and now provides a service model that is being adapted in other cities in the U.S.  For further information about the Toby Center, visit www.thetobycenter.org.

Dr. Roseman finds that acknowledgement, recognition, and support are the three pillars to help one effectively move forward from most of life’s challenges.  He has also found that personal transitions may be easiest when one uses humor as a healing mechanism.  Learn more about his work at www.markdavidroseman.com.
