Bringing a global arc of healing for families
History of PRESERVING FAMILY TIES MEDIA, LLC™
Preserving Family Ties Media, LLC is a unique source of educational materials for those who work in allied professional fields and policy to improve child outcomes when parents separate. The fundamental corporate goal is to inform practitioners, educators, peers and students in family professions, family research and public policy and reflect in what is happening globally in this important field.
Our strategic goal of improving child outcomes is based on our tactical resolve to help practitioners within professional and service industries, government, education and research be more educated, aware and more effective; for legislation to be more encompassing, mindful of long term consequences, and for human service providers to be more focused on holistic means to strengthen child attachment to both parents and extended family members.
Says Dr. Roseman, “Research show that family court orders will impact a family, up to six generations. That’s one hundred and fifty years. If not for this, then certainly we need embrace the findings of the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement, that stronger ties with both parents will mitigate bullying, alcohol and drug abuse, juvenile crime, and suicide. If we can all commit to this understanding, then all of society will be the beneficiary.”
Preserving Family Ties Media, LLC was founded in 2019 and is named for Preserving Family Ties, written by our founder, Dr. Mark David Roseman. Published in 2018, Preserving Family Ties (WestBow Press) examines the social science research on family transitions and child outcomes. The text serves as a guide for parents and family professionals all working to improve co-parenting, child custody and professional services in law, psychology, and education. Says Dr. Roseman, “With this knowledge, there can be more effective opportunities and professional practice to improve child outcomes when parents separate.” See more here (add: link to the book’s website, www.preservingfamilyties.com.
